Solana Spanish Villas is a mini-resort style short term rental property in Tucson situated on 5.7 acres with 6 fully furnished villas and 2 casitas for rent. The property is nestled in the heart of the Tanque Verde Valley, located in East Tucson, Arizona and can accommodate up to 40 guests per night. Newly updated and perfectly located to enjoy the stunning Catalina and Rincon Mountain views with quick access to outdoor biking, hiking trails, and scenic Mount Lemmon, Redington Pass and Saguaro National Monument East.

This was such a well-kept gem in the beautiful Senoran Desert! It was a 10 minute drive from the East Entrance of Saguaro National Park, which is what we came for. The place was beautiful, clean, well-stocked and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and pickleball courts as well. The landscaping was beautiful, and my kids loved seeing lizards run up the trees. We will definitely being staying there agin for our next visit! Don't forget to bring your bikes!!!

A great property for families. It was our first visit to Tucson and spent time with family members staying in a separate property. This is far East Tucson, so plan on a bit of a drive to most things. That said, this property has so many amenities, we had plenty to entertain the kids with (pickleball all the time). The property was incredibly clean, and well stocked. The blackout curtains in the room were appreciated when getting our 22mo old down for a nap or bed. Wish the pool was a little warmer, but we came early in the spring.

We had a great time at the Villa!  It was a great setup for our family and they provided high chair and pack and play for our little ones.  Beautiful scenery and a nice area to be able to explore without leaving the grounds.

We loved our stay at Solana Spanish Villas! The grounds were absolutely beautiful, and there was so much to do. We really took advantage of the great pickleball court, and are planning on coming back when it’s warmer to get in the beautiful pool. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at the Solana Villas, it was very peaceful and quiet. It was not easy to walk in the immediate neighborhood, but close to plenty of things to do by short drives including hikes and sunset views on Mt Lemmon. John & Danielle were great hosts and very responsive.

We chose these villas for a bachelorette gathering for my sister. Nine women stayed for the weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed the big dining table, private outdoor patio, wonderful rooms, and full kitchen. Everyone commented how perfect the housing was for a celebration and get-away. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I decided to go to Tucson for my 60th birthday.  There are a lot of places to stay but we are extremely happy we chose Solana Spanish Villas.  We did a lot of cycling and the trails and Mount Lemmon were really close.  Grocery, restaurants and shops were also nearby.  Solana Spanish Villas were quiet with great amenities like a pool, firepit, and areas to sit and relax.  Laundry was also on-site which was convenient.

Danielle and John were great hosts and the rest of the staff were wonderful.  Any inquiry or request was handled immediately and all our needs were met and exceeded.  We are planning to return next year, but the only problem is that they book up so quickly we'll need to adjust our vacation dates for 2026.  Oh well, small price to pay for an excellent vacation spot.

Danielle & John are wonderful hosts - welcoming, friendly, responsive, helpful and all around super nice people! Both are local Tucsonans and therefore have real insights on where to go and what to do, and very happy to share their knowledge.

Solana Spanish Villas is a wonderful mini-resort, it has most of the amenities of a resort, pool, pickleball, small get away spots on the grounds but none of the crowds. We were there for two months and even when it was full it didn't seem that there were many other people around.

We travel with two dogs and Danielle and John were more than welcoming to our pets. There is plenty of space at the resort to walk the dogs and right across the street is a small county park with a couple of miles of dog friendly trails. Their maintenance person often had treats on his cart and he quickly became our dogs' favorite person! Our dogs were very happy there.

Danielle and John have a real gem and we highly recommend a stay at Solana Spanish Villas.

Loved Solana Villa's.  The property was gorgeous and we enjoyed all the amenities.  The location was private and quiet.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this home! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners spared no detail in making it both comfortable and inviting. The house was impeccably clean and full of charm, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The entire property was thoughtfully designed for relaxation and fun. My family especially enjoyed the variety of games, including pickleball, which kept us entertained throughout our stay. Communication with the hosts was fast and easy, and their professionalism made the rental process seamless.

Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-maintained, charming getaway!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Solana Spanish Villas. The home had an excellent layout and was very beautiful and spacious for our family size. We loved the large kitchen, especially since we like to prepare most of our meals. The property grounds were well kept, and our kids enjoyed playing basketball and other games, or just lounging in the hammocks at one of the many beautiful outdoor spaces. The property is just as described and has all the things you need to feel right at home. John and Danielle were very welcoming and responsive to any queries that we had. We would definitely stay here in the future and recommend Solana Spanish Villas to our friends.

Solana Spanish Villas is a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful! The grounds keeper worked five days a week keeping everything pristine. The villas have been recently remodeled with updated kitchens and baths. Danielle and John were friendly and helpful. Whenever we needed anything they responded almost immediately. They live in one of the villas so are readily available.  I would highly recommend staying at Solana Spanish Villas.

Tucson family location
Great layout for a big family lots of fun things to do on property, including Pickleball, which is a favorite some decent hiking trails nearby. Tucson does not have a lot of dog friendly hiking trails, but there was one fairly close and another not too far drive.We were super happy with our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

We planned a last minute trip with our horses and we're so happy this was available. Fully renovated property that's like a mini resort. We stayed a lovely villa that was home away from home for us. Really clean and modern. The grounds are also resort like with plenty of different areas to sit and relax (by the park, fire, or lake). Also a lovely outdoor pool. The location was perfect as the horses and trails were 5 minutes away. Great place for families and will definitely be back with ours. By the way, the owners are extremely friendly and accommodating.

Weekend Stay
We are a senior ladies softball travel team and we loved the accommodations. It was exactly as described. Danielle responded immediately when we had a question.  We loved the family room. Was a VERY clean Villa throughout.  Kitchen had everything you could think of. The outside patio was a nice setup and the resort amenities were available even in December.

Great place out in the desert.  We loved the house and villa's and the grounds.  We were a big family group(rented a house and a villa)and we loved having all of the outdoor patios and firepits and games.  

We definitely want to stay here again!

Solana is beautiful. We hosted our wedding here and it was perfect. Danielle was very accommodating. This property is perfect for hosting out of town guests for a wedding, or even for a family reunion.

Golf/sightseeing trip with a bunch of guys, some 60+, others younger. Solana Spanish Villas was very comfortable and great for a group.

 Plenty to do including horseshoes, corn hole and pickle ball. 

Just a couple minor issues. Fifth bedroom was listed as twin/twin/queen.  The second twin was a pull out mattress under the first. The pickle ball court was lit but not bright enough. Would be plenty for basketball but not pickle ball.

Perfect reception/ family spot
The house fit about 30 ish people for the wedding reception. It was perfect where no one was sitting too close to anyone but didnt really sit too far away from anyone. The house was beautiful and massive. By the time the reception started we couldnt really play any of the cool games set aside because it wasn't really lit well except the pool, but the property was large enough to play hide and seek. My wife and i regret not staying an extra day for ourselves 

Desert Man Shenanigans

From the moment we booked our trip to arriving and staying for our stay, to packing up and leaving everything was exactly as it said it would be. I absolutely loved walking out in the morning, enjoying my coffee and sitting out on the deck by the pond. I did not want to leave! Everything was so laid out and comfortable for us, and my kids who did not want to go in the first place did not want to leave by the end. We absolutely loved our stay and we will be back sooner rather than later.

We had a last minute one night stay at the villa and I honestly wish we had more time! There were a lot of amenities available. I like that it felt pretty private and it was away from the city. Danielle was very responsive and helpful! I would definitely go back :)

Place was absolutely beautiful and very cozy! Loved the area it was in. It was exactly like the description said. Felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Check in was very easy, no problems at all. Whatever we needed the host was right there! We will definitely be staying here again. ❤️

Wow!  What an AMAZING property, a real hidden gem in the desert - located in a bosque on the outskirts of town.  Close enough to the city, but far enough away so you don’t have the disturbances of the city.  A unique “mini-resort” with a few casitas/villas on private property, 2 laundry facilities and a gorgeous pool,  just spectacular!  Everything you need for a perfect stay. . . We had a fully equipped kitchen in #4, great for cooking in-house.  Including a bbq on the private patio.  Part of the property is still being renovated and a pond is coming soon.  The hosts are very responsive and great to communicate with.  Extremely hospitable 😊  We are very much looking forward to a future stay!

We love the Northeast side of Tucson, and Solana Spanish Villas is a hidden gem in this area. The property offers a delightful blend of amenities, including a pool, pickleball, and various activities, all within walking distance to the Barnyard restaurant.

Our stay began in Casita 7, a charming unit, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to Villa 2. This upgrade significantly enhanced our experience. The accommodations were comfortable, and the service was exceptional.

We highly recommend Solana Spanish Villas for a memorable stay.

This was the coolest Airbnb I’ve stayed at! We booked multiple villas for our large group. There are tons of places to lounge and enjoy the summer evenings with family (and some new friends we met during our stay!). It’s got a resort vibe and the rooms were spotless! The host was responsive and friendly; we’ll be back next year for sure! :)

This place was amazing! The check-in was smooth and easy and the host Danielle was super responsive in the messages. The villa smelled great and was squeaky clean. We were in and out so we didn’t get to use any of the cool amenities like the pool and pickleball courts, but we have a longer trip planned here in a few months and we will definitely stay again, 5 stars for sure!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the very new Solana Spanish Villas for a small group business retreat. One of the standout features we loved is its perfect location for sports teams and endurance athletes with superrr close proximity to some of Tucson's best cycling destinations, including Mt. Lemmon, Gates Pass, and The Loop. Although we were not there for that, we will be back for it!

In addition to being a fantastic choice for us, we think Solana Spanish Villas is also ideal for families and groups. The spacious villas provide plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy, and the resort's amenities cater to guests of all ages. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful pool area, which offers a perfect spot to unwind and soak up the Arizona sun.
